This is my first pregnancy (one major surgery and 2 rounds of IVF later) and as you can imagine, I'm over thinking everything. Being able to check on our baby at anytime is extremely reassuring. Tip for plus-size women: start very low (above the pubic bone) in the center with a firm downward angle; before moving from that spot, change the angle a little at a time. Don't get discouraged or worried if you can't find the heart beat right away. It took me ~45 minutes to find it the first time.
